OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
Friends Fellowship of Indiana is a Christ-centered ministry founded upon the truth of God's Word and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. The following beliefs guide our ministry, our service, and our mission to women impacted by incarceration.
God
We believe in one God, the Creator and Lord of all things, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the sacrifice for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and ascended into Heaven. Fully God and fully man, He is the only mediator between God and humanity.
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and trustworthy Word of God. It is the foundation for our faith, teaching, and daily living. We affirm its truth and seek to live according to its guidance and instruction.
Salvation
We believe that all people have sinned and are in need of God's forgiveness. Salvation is a gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through Him, individuals can experience forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and new life.
The Church
We believe in one holy and universal Church, united in Jesus Christ. The Church is called to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, serve others with compassion, and demonstrate God's love throughout the world.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers. The Holy Spirit brings new life, empowers spiritual growth, provides wisdom and guidance, and equips believers to live faithfully and serve effectively.
Christ's Return
We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory. He will bring God's plan for salvation and judgment to completion and establish a new Heaven and a new Earth where righteousness dwells.
Our Hope
We believe that God will one day make all things new. In His eternal Kingdom, there will be no more sin, suffering, pain, or death, and He will be glorified forever.
Living Our Faith
At Friends Fellowship, our Statement of Faith is more than a set of beliefs. It guides our mission to bring hope, forgiveness, healing, and the love of Jesus Christ to incarcerated women throughout Indiana. Through faithful service, compassionate relationships, and biblical teaching, we seek to reflect Christ's love and share the hope found in Him.
